More About Who I Am

Welcome to my shop! My name is Gwendolyn Fay Lawson Hunter, and my journey is one of resilience and passion.

I was the firstborn child of Lester Nathaniel Lawson and Eva Mae Lawson. I was raised by my grandmother, Mrs. Addie Lee Banks. I grew up deep in the country environment—a place with no electricity, no gas, no inside bathroom, only running water, a cast iron stove and big wash pan to bath in.

Neither my mother nor my grandmother ever read to me. As a matter of fact, the very first time I saw my own name in writing was in the first grade at Princeton Elementary School, in Haughton, Louisiana, when my teacher wrote my full name in large letters across the blackboard and told me to write it down. I would have never know what my name looked like. I was amused. However, my dad was an educated man. He was a college graduate Morgan State College and served his time in the United States Airforce.

From those humble beginnings, I went on to graduate from high school and college, eventually earning a Master’s degree in Business Education. My journey in entrepreneuralship began when launched my first business creating Case Report Forms (CRFs) for a pharmaceutical industry located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Since then, I have become a certified teacher for the 18 yers and I have established three other LLCs.

Today, this Etsy store stands as a proud by product of Lawson’s Enterprises and
Solutions, named after my daddy. After more than 18 years of teaching, I am preparing for retirement to focus fully on my online ventures, which include this Luxury ETSY shop and a real estate investor where I dedicate service in helping individuals from home foreclosure.

I successfully offer branded products in my Shopify store. I create and hand make each luxurous item for your Secrety Luxury ETSY enjoyment. It is my ultimate dream that people from all walks of life will discover Your Secret Luxury and
experience the true satisfaction of accessible, everyday elegance.

I hope you enjoy the projects I have created and please feel free to email your thoughts when it is convenient for you.
